This intimate showcase brought a homely and personal touch to this year's Reflections Arts Festival. Paying homage to the environmental and social efforts by Coldplay, and The Roots, the show features songs by these artists, echoing the themes of hope and resilience. The show aims to leave the audience pondering a question asked by Coldplay, "Am I part of the Cure, or am I part of the disease?"

Inspired by the message behind the show and its call-to-action, I was strongly motivated to play an essential role in breathing it into life. Alongside my co-producer, I guided and assisted him on how to put together a production from scratch.

With the different items being pitched by each individual Interest Group, a Group IC was assigned to the respective items. During creative meetings, I facilitated communication between the different items, ensuring that the details and intentions were consistent in theme and accurate.

Being more familiar backstage, I was tasked to oversee the production matters while my co-producer handled the programme and marketing departments to manage the large production team. My responsibilities includes creating the technical rider and communicating it with the programme coordinator, assisting with scheduling, as well as coordination with the stage managers.

While my co-producer was a vital performer on stage, I was responsible for the attendance and coordinating performers for their soundchecks, pre-show briefings and meal distribution, as well as front-of-house coordination and set-up.
